Establishment of the University:

Nisantasi University Turkey joined the higher education system as "Nisantasi Vocational School" which was established by Nisantasi Educational Foundation in 2009 and was changed to Nisantasi University in 2012 and began its educational career through the Faculty of Economics and Administrative and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, the Faculty of Arts and Design, and the Higher Institute of Social Sciences.

The following are the most important events in the history of Nisantasi University according to the university's official website:

● In the academic year 2010-2011, the university began to provide education for the degree of associate through 14 programs, and the number of its associate programs for the academic year 2018-2019 reached 84 programs.

● In the academic year 2013-2014, Nisantasi University began to provide university education, in addition, to associate degrees in 23 departments, 13 departments of which are in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative and Social Sciences, 5 departments in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and 5 in the Faculty of Art and Design, as the language of instruction is the Turkish language, and approval has been obtained to teach for the master's degree in many specializations with and without a thesis, in addition to approval to teach a doctorate for the specialization of business administration.

● In the academic year 2014-2015, the number of departments was increased to 30 departments in the university’s various faculties, in addition to the start of teaching psychology in English.

● In the academic year 2015-2016, the number of majors taught in English was increased to four majors: Psychology, New Media, International Relations, and architecture.

● In the academic year 2016-2017, the number of departments at the university was increased to 44 departments, and the number of departments taught in English was increased to 8 departments, where the specializations of aviation management, interior architecture, civil engineering, and international relations were added.

● In the academic year 2016-2017 education was started in the faculty of civil aviation, the faculty of physical education and sports, and the faculty of applied sciences, and these faculties continued to provide university education to the present time.

●In the academic year 2020-2021, many university programs were opened in the faculties of Civil Engineering, the Faculty of Health Sciences, and the Faculty of Economics, in addition to the opening of new teaching programs at the vocational school of the university.
